Titanium upgrade shock stand-offs, for Arrma 6s and 1/7th scale trucks.

As hard bashers, we all quickly find the shock stand-off is a huge weak point, bringing too many great bash sessions to an early end!

This is a step improvement to the strength of the stand-off. We’ve been running all the Scorched Parts Arrma bashers with this M4 upgrade for 2 years without a single breakage. Breaking the stock parts seemed to happened every other session!

This upgrade increases the screw size from 3mm to 4mm, using a 12.9 grade high tensile through bolt.
The through bolt has multiple advantages.
1) Material Properties. The material and heat treatment of standard availability 12.9 grade screws is very high and difficult to beat for toughness and strength.

2) Using a ‘through’ screw allows extra ‘stretch zone’ inside the assembly. This allows the screw to flex and stretch a tiny amount under impact load. This means it can absorb impact loads a little better. Loads are not focussed into a tiny area of the screw.

3) If you do manage to break the screw, it’s easily replaced with a stock part available from any hardware source. (Spare screws included in kit!)

Kit includes all 4 mount stand-offs, M4 high tensile screws (including spares!) and nuts, plus a 4mm drill.

You will need to drill your tower holes out to 4mm (Drill included)

Arrma shock bushes seem to come in two sizes. One size fits straight on, the other is tight and needs a bit of a push to get on.

Modifying your RC from stock condition can result in unexpected results. Operation of modified models must take this into account. Always follow the original manufacturers instructions.
